Conversational AI Engineer


About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Conversational AI Engineer to join our team. As a key member of our organization, you will be responsible for designing and implementing conversational flows that deliver exceptional user experiences.


Key Responsibilities
  • Design, develop, and optimize conversational flows using RetellAI.com.
  • Translate business requirements into structured dialogue flows, handling multiple branches, edge cases, and real-life conversation patterns.
  • Integrate RetellAI agents with external platforms via Make.com and/or n8n.
  • Debug, test, and refine agent behavior to ensure high performance and reliability.
  • Document workflows and provide best practices for scalable agent builds.
  • Collaborate with the internal team to deliver client-ready solutions.

Requirements
  • At least 2 years of experience in conversational AI, automation, or related fields.
  • Proven expertise with RetellAI.com, specifically in conversational flow creation.
  • Experience with Make.com and/or n8n for workflow automation.
  • Strong knowledge of webhooks, JSON, HTTP requests, APIs, and integrations.
  • Strong problem-solving and debugging skills.
  • Evidence of completed projects (portfolio, demos, or case studies) showing real conversational flows.
  • Ability to work independently and manage time effectively in an hourly engagement model.
  • Fluent English communication skills.

Nice-to-Haves
  • Experience integrating with CRMs, booking platforms, or call management systems.
  • Familiarity with other AI platforms (e.g., Dialogflow, Voiceflow, etc.) for broader perspective.
