Effective data management is a cornerstone of any successful organization. As a key player in this process, the Data Modeler plays a pivotal role in designing and implementing data models that meet the needs of various stakeholders.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Understand conceptual, logical, and physical data models
  • Leverage inventory of data sources and ensure its map is correctly aligned with the Data Model
  • Prepare data transformation logics and data quality logics
  • Create and document data mapping, including data dictionaries, metadata, and entity-relationship diagrams
  • Collaborate with Data Architects and Analysts to drive internal customer needs into effective data models
  • Enforce data modeling standards, guidelines, and best practices
  • Communicate complex data and data modeling concepts to non-technical stakeholders
  • Support the design and implementation of database schemas/structures and database performance tuning/optimization

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • Expertise in relational, dimensional, and document data modelling
  • 4-10 years of experience
  • Proficiency in SQL Procedures and ERWIN
  • Experience in data quality practices
  • Excellent communication skills to convey complex concepts to non-technical stakeholders
  • Ability to work independently and take ownership of tasks
