Job Title: Automation Script Developer.

We are seeking an experienced automation script developer to create efficient scripts using Perl and Windows Batch. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of file handling, regular expressions, and text processing in Perl scripting. They will also be proficient in writing and debugging Windows Batch/DOS commands and have experience with scheduling tools such as Windows Task Scheduler or Control-M.

The successful candidate will have solid knowledge of Windows command-line environment, command chaining, and scripting logic. They will also be familiar with file system operations, log management, and automation tasks. Additionally, they should have experience with FTP/SFTP automation, email triggers, or data archiving scripts, and be familiar with version control tools (Git/SVN).

In this role, the automation script developer will develop and maintain automation scripts to support data automation, system integrations, file processing, and task execution. They will also build workflows for scheduled tasks, file transfers, logging, and error handling, as well as create scripts for data parsing, validation, and transformation.

\

The ideal candidate will have a bachelor's degree in Computer Science, IT, Engineering, or a related field, and have at least 36 years of experience in automation scripting. They should also be able to work independently and manage tasks efficiently in a production environment.
