Job Title: Abinitio Developer

About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Abinitio developer to join our team. As an Abinitio developer, you will design and develop ETL workflows and processes using Ab Initio to extract, transform, and load data from various sources.

Key Responsibilities
  • Design and develop ETL workflows and processes using Ab Initio.
  • Perform data profiling, data quality analysis, and troubleshooting to ensure data integrity and consistency.
  • Optimize Ab Initio jobs for performance, scalability, and maintainability.
  • Develop and maintain data processing flows and support data integration for business intelligence and analytics needs.
  • Collaborate with team members to implement and enforce best practices in data integration and ETL development.
  • Provide technical support and troubleshooting for production issues as required.
  • Document processes, technical specifications, and maintain a knowledge base for future reference.
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • A Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
  • Minimum 4+ years of experience in ETL development with Ab Initio.
  • Strong proficiency in Ab Initio components such as GDE, EME, Express, Continuous Flows, and other related modules.
  • Strong SQL skills and experience working with databases like Oracle, SQL Server, or DB2.
  • Solid understanding of data quality principles and experience in data validation.
  • Proven experience in performance tuning and troubleshooting ETL jobs.
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
