Job Title: Senior Counselling Associate - UG Applications

">Role Overview

This senior counselling role will significantly impact the lives of master's, PhD, and postgraduate applicants. The successful candidate will be responsible for leading a team of counselors, collaborating with subject experts and editors, and providing strategic guidance to clients in the competitive global admissions landscape.

">Key Responsibilities:
  • Main Point of Contact: Provide personalized guidance on academics, extracurriculars, and application milestones to students and parents.
  • Mentorship Schedules: Oversee structured mentorship schedules with external mentors to ensure consistent support for students.
  • Profile Evaluations: Advise on academics, extracurriculars, summer schools, internships, and overall profile building for students.
  • Standardized Test Prep: Guide students through test preparation and subject or curriculum equivalencies.
  • Application Materials: Assist in drafting, reviewing, and refining application essays, personal statements, activity lists, résumés, and recommendation letters.
  • Student Progress: Prepare detailed progress notes and ensure applications stay on track with internal and university deadlines.
  • Scholarships: Research relevant undergraduate scholarships, financial aid, and merit-based opportunities, and assist students with applications.
  • Admission Offers: Help students and families evaluate admission offers by clarifying financial implications, career outcomes, and long-term pathways.
Required Skills & Qualifications
  • Bachelor's and Master's degree in any discipline (preferably with personal experience of postgraduate study abroad).
  • 3–5 years of experience in postgraduate admissions counseling, higher education advisory, or related roles.
  • Strong understanding of program-specific requirements for Master's, PhD, MBA, and other postgraduate degrees.
  • Exceptional verbal and written communication skills, with proficiency in academic and professional writing.
  • Proven ability to manage multiple high-stakes applications simultaneously while maintaining quality.
  • Empathetic, detail-oriented, and proactive, with strong interpersonal skills to build trust with clients.
  • Team leadership and training experience preferred.
  • Familiarity with global postgraduate application systems and processes.
  • A deep passion for education, mentorship, and career development.
