Cloud Infrastructure Specialist

Cloud Operations Engineers play a pivotal role in ensuring the smooth functioning of cloud infrastructure. This position requires a high degree of technical expertise and problem-solving skills to optimize costs, improve efficiency, and ensure reliability.
- The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience with AWS, GCP, and Azure cloud services, including EC2, S3, IAM, GKE, BigQuery, and others.
- Strong knowledge of scripting/programming languages such as Python, Bash, Shell, and proficiency in at least one language is required.
- Monitor and analyze cloud infrastructure costs across various platforms.
- Develop and maintain scripts for cost reporting, resource clean-up, and efficiency improvements.
- Work closely with engineering teams to right-size compute, storage, and database resources.
- Implement cost-saving strategies, such as reserved instances, savings plans, auto-scaling policies, and storage lifecycle policies.
- Hands-on experience with cloud services, particularly AWS and/or GCP.
- Experience in cloud cost monitoring and optimization.
- Proficiency in scripting/programming languages.
- Understanding of SRE concepts: reliability, scalability, monitoring, and automation.
