Software Testing Engineer Position Overview

We are seeking a highly skilled Software Testing Engineer to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for designing, developing, and implementing software testing strategies and processes.

  • This role involves testing and maintaining custom engineering automation software applications.
  • The candidate will plan, build, and manage the overall Quality Planning strategy, including creating and maintaining Traceability Matrix, Test plans, Test Cases, and Test Scenarios.
  • Conduct various types of application testing, such as system, unit, regression, load, and acceptance testing methods to identify defects.
  • Prepare and complete unit test cases according to functional requirements.
  • Develop and maintain application test automation framework and scripts in Selenium and QTP/UFT.
  • Document and review QA process, application test results with project teams and key users.
  • Ability to develop test scripts for component testing using C# and other testing tools.

You will have:

  • A BS in Computer Science, Mechanical Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, or related field, or equivalent experience.
  • 3+ years of experience with software QA tools and processes and experience in developing automation scripts using QTP/UFT and Selenium.
  • Experience in developing and maintaining software applications using .Net Technologies with proficiency in C# and SQL.
  • Demonstrated experience in API testing tools like Postman and SoapUI.
  • Good understanding of web applications and Visual Studio Testing Tools is an advantage.
