About the Role

This is a challenging opportunity to leverage data, analytics, and artificial intelligence (AI) technologies to extract insights, build predictive models, and develop AI-powered solutions. As part of our DS/AI Competency Center, you will utilize exploratory data analysis, statistical modeling, and machine learning to drive business growth.

You will have the autonomy to work independently and collaboratively with top-tier engineers and experts to deliver high-quality solutions. With a strong focus on optimization methodologies, including linear/integer/nonlinear programming and heuristics, you will find innovative solutions to complex business problems.

This role requires a proactive approach, with a focus on improving existing pipelines, suggesting improvements, and creating standards to enhance competency quality.

Key Responsibilities
  • Business understanding and data preparation
  • Modeling, evaluation, and deployment of solutions following CRISP-DM methodologies
  • Understanding of optimization methodologies, including linear/integer/nonlinear programming and heuristics
  • Experience with business requirements gathering, transforming them into technical plans, data processing, feature engineering, hypothesis testing, and model deployment
  • Proactive approach to improving existing pipelines, suggesting improvements, and creating standards
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • 5+ years of relevant professional experience, including 2+ years of DS/Operations Research experience
  • Experience in optimization methodologies, including use of various optimization libraries (e.g., CPLEX, Gurobi, ortools)
  • Strong Python coding skills, including object-oriented programming concepts, ML libraries, and basic working knowledge of SQL
  • Experience working in cloud technologies (preferred MS Azure, GCP nice-to-have)
  • Familiarity with theory behind various machine learning concepts
  • Experience in CRISP-DM project delivery and Agile projects (like Scrum, Kanban)
  • Experience with business requirements gathering, transforming them into technical plans, data processing, feature engineering, models evaluation, hypothesis testing, and model deployment
  • Experience in client-facing roles
  • Able to apply independent research, gather information, and give recommendations on solving diverse scope problems
