Job Title

The Data Governance Manager role involves strategic leadership and collaboration across global teams, encompassing India and LATAM. Reporting directly to the US-ITS Data Strategy & Governance Officer (Office of the CDO), this position requires strong ownership of data domains, processes, and procedures.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Serve as a subject matter expert in best practices for data governance and quality, ensuring optimal safeguards are implemented.
  • Demonstrate active stewardship of specific data domains, processes, and procedures, driving continuous improvement efforts.
  • Develop and maintain data requirements, data models, data dictionaries, process maps, and data lineage/mapping using standardized approaches.
  • Utilize metadata capture and documentation tools to enhance data governance.
  • Communicate effectively with stakeholders to gather and address data requirements and feedback.
  • Establish and manage metadata and data quality processes using industry-standard tools like Informatica, Collibra, SAP, and Microsoft 365.
  • Tag and classify unstructured data across platforms such as SharePoint, Teams, and internal ERP systems.
  • Ensure compliance with regulatory standards, including ISO, GDPR, SOX, and internal AI data controls.
  • Manage assets within DTUS (Data Technology Unified Services) and support lifecycle governance for SuccessFactors/HXM data.
  • Foster a culture of continuous improvement, monitor results, and conduct benchmarking activities.
