Job Overview

We are seeking an experienced Mechanical Design Engineer to join our team. The successful candidate will have a strong background in mechanical engineering and excellent skills in CAD software.

The role involves designing, developing, and testing mechanical components and systems. You will work closely with cross-functional teams to bring new products from concept to production, ensuring that all engineering specifications and requirements are met.

You will be responsible for designing and developing mechanical systems and components based on engineering principles. This includes creating detailed engineering drawings and specifications using CAD software.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Mechanical System Design - Designing and developing mechanical systems and components based on engineering principles.
  • CAD Proficiency - Creating detailed engineering drawings and specifications using CAD software.
  • Project Collaboration - Collaborating with cross-functional teams to define project requirements.
  • Regulatory Compliance - Ensuring compliance with industry standards and safety regulations.
  • Cost Optimization - Identifying and implementing cost reduction and design optimization opportunities.
  • Troubleshooting - Providing technical support and troubleshooting throughout the design process.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field.
  • 1-2 years of experience in mechanical design engineering.
  • Proficiency in CAD software (SolidWorks and AutoCAD).
  • Strong understanding of engineering principles and practices.
  • Knowledge of PDM will be an added advantage.
  • Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.
  • Ability to work effectively in a team environment
