Key Position:

We seek an accomplished Data Engineering professional to spearhead the development of a data platform for reporting and analytics.

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Design and implement scalable data solutions using Databricks, SQL, Python, Spark, and Delta Lake on Azure.
  • Implement best practices for ETL/ELT and data quality to ensure seamless data integration.
  • Collaborate with teams to integrate data with business intelligence tools like Tableau and Power BI.
  • Manage CI/CD pipelines, testing, infrastructure-as-code, and monitoring tools to optimize system performance.
  • Mentor junior engineers and foster a culture of innovation within the team.

Requirements:

  • A minimum of 8 years of experience in data engineering, including 3+ years in senior roles.
  • Expertise in PySpark, Scala, SQL, Python, and Azure, with Databricks experience preferred.
  • Experience with Databricks integrations such as Delta Live Tables and Auto Loader is highly beneficial.
  • Strong skills in Spark, Pandas, and NumPy are essential.
