Job Summary:

This role is responsible for supporting the organization's data protection strategy through comprehensive analysis, reporting, and governance activities. The Data Protection Program Manager will collaborate with cross-functional teams to establish an effective governance framework for data protection and information security.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Develop and manage reporting dashboards to track key metrics and indicators of data protection efforts and governance adherence.
  • Analyze complex data to identify trends, vulnerabilities, and areas requiring enhancement in the organization's data protection landscape.
  • Produce regular reports detailing the performance of information security controls, incidents, and compliance status for senior leadership and stakeholders.
  • Translate technical findings into actionable business insights and recommendations.

Collaboration & Stakeholder Engagement:

  • Work closely with IT, security, legal, privacy, and other business units to ensure alignment on data protection objectives and governance practices.
  • Foster collaboration between technical and non-technical teams to implement cohesive governance standards.
  • Facilitate governance meetings and working groups, providing updates on data protection initiatives.

Qualifications:

  • The ideal candidate will have 3-5 years of professional experience in IT, preferably in creating reports, dashboards, and metrics for tracking security performance and compliance.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to analyze complex data and communicate technical information effectively to non-technical audiences.

Predicted Salary Range:$120,000 - $180,000 per year. This estimate is based on industry standards and the complexity of the role.
