Instrumentation Engineer

This position involves providing daily support to our sales force, representatives, and customers in the areas of API-610 Pumps and other pump applications. Your key responsibilities will include:

  • Preparation of instrumentation deliverables such as instrument lists, I/O lists, instrument datasheets, P&IDs, and control documents.
  • Project engineering activities and preparation of deliverables.
  • Instrument wiring diagrams, instrument layout, instrument hook-up diagrams, equipment, and utility lists.
  • JB drawings, JB wiring diagrams, tag lists, and instrument datasheets.
  • Liaising with suppliers for collecting quotations and finalizing deals for control and instrumentation-related accessories.

You will also be responsible for attending internal KOM meetings with Dubai and USA sales/applications teams, customer KOMs, working closely with project managers to ensure proper support is provided to deliver projects on time, developing document templates and standard document packs to reduce engagement from factory engineering/PMs in document preparation, building relationships with key end-users and EPC customers to ensure repeated business.

Key Requirements
  • Minimum 3-5 years of experience in relevant field as Instrument Design Engineer.
  • Team-oriented, self-starter, and highly motivated.
  • Strong PC skills with Windows XP and Microsoft Office programs.
  • Good organizational skills.
  • Ability to juggle multiple tasks.
  • Demonstrated ability to establish relationships with customer base.
  • Excellent communication skills.
  • Good work ethic and positive attitude.
