We are seeking a skilled PowerShell system administrator to join our team. This role requires strong scripting skills, with a focus on designing and developing automation solutions using PowerShell.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Design and develop PowerShell scripts to automate installation processes, configure systems, and deploy software.
  • Automate system administration tasks, such as user account management, group policy implementation, and server configuration.
  • Develop and maintain PowerShell modules and functions to standardize script development and ensure consistency across projects.
  • Automate software deployment using PowerShell scripts, including package management solutions like Chocolatey.
  • Manage data using SQL and Oracle databases, interacting with them through PowerShell to retrieve, update, and manage data related to installations and system configurations.
  • Implement email systems and manage file server permissions using PowerShell.
  • Work with DevOps tools and cloud platforms, integrating PowerShell scripts into Continuous Integration/Continuous Delivery (CI/CD) pipelines and deploying solutions on cloud platforms like Azure or AWS.

The ideal candidate will have strong analytical skills, the ability to troubleshoot and resolve complex issues, and excellent communication and collaboration skills. Proficiency in PowerShell scripting, Windows Server administration, and experience with automation in enterprise environments is required.

A bachelor's degree in computer science, Information Technology, or a related field is preferred. Microsoft Certified: PowerShell or other relevant industry certifications are also desirable. Experience with Desired State Configuration (DSC) for configuration management and knowledge of other scripting languages like Python or Bash are a plus.
