The Chandigarh University seeks an enthusiastic and dynamic anchor to host various events, shows, and functions on campus. As the university's representative, you will be responsible for ensuring that all events are well-organized, informative, and entertaining.

">Event Hosting: Serve as the official host for university events, conferences, workshops, seminars, cultural functions, sports events, and other programs.">Audience Engagement: Engage with the audience through interactive elements, ice-breakers, and informative segments to create a lively atmosphere.">Content Preparation: Work closely with the event team to understand the theme, objectives, and content of the event and prepare scripts, speeches, and presentations accordingly.">Coordination with Organizers and Teams: Collaborate with event coordinators, technical teams, and other stakeholders to ensure smooth event execution and provide feedback to improve the flow of the event.">Brand Representation: Represent the university in a positive, professional, and articulate manner during public interactions and ensure that the university's vision, values, and messages are consistently communicated during all events.">Social Media and Digital Engagement: Assist in promoting events through social media platforms and university channels and record short video snippets, interviews, or highlights from the event for promotional use.">">

Requirements:

• Educational Qualification: Bachelor's degree in Journalism, Mass Communication, or a related field. A Master's degree is a plus.">
• Experience: Minimum 1-2 years of experience as an anchor, host, or presenter in a professional setting such as television, radio, live events, or media.">
• Skills: Strong verbal and written communication skills in English (knowledge of Hindi/Punjabi is a plus). Excellent public speaking, interpersonal, and presentation skills. Confident, dynamic, and energetic personality.">
• Additional Qualities: Creative, flexible, and adaptable in approach. Strong team player and ability to work collaboratively with diverse teams. Proactive in managing tasks and responsibilities. Passionate about higher education and university events.">
