Electrical Wiring Harness Design Specialist

We are seeking a skilled Electrical Wiring Harness Design Specialist to join our team. As a key member of our engineering group, you will be responsible for designing and developing electrical wiring harness systems for vehicles or industrial equipment.

Your primary focus will be on ensuring compliance with industry standards and customer specifications. You will work closely with cross-functional teams to integrate harness designs into overall product architecture.

  • Design and develop electrical wiring harness systems for vehicles or industrial equipment
  • Create 2D and 3D harness routing using CAD tools (e.g., CATIA V5, Siemens NX, or Zuken E3)
  • Collaborate with mechanical, electrical, and manufacturing engineers to integrate harness designs
  • Generate and maintain detailed documentation including wiring diagrams, connector tables, and BOMs

To succeed in this role, you will require strong understanding of electrical systems, wiring harness architecture, and component selection. Proficiency in CAD tools such as CATIA Electrical, Capital Harness, or Zuken E3 is also essential.

The ideal candidate will have a BE in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering and relevant experience in harness design. Additionally, excellent communication and teamwork skills are crucial for success in this position.
