Senior Clinical Pricing Specialist

The Senior Clinical Pricing Specialist is a key member of the Makro organization responsible for leading the development and implementation of pricing strategies for clinical services. This role ensures the company maintains competitive and profitable pricing structures and supports the Request for Quotation (RFQ) and Request for Proposal (RFP) processes for clinical products and services.
Key Responsibilities:- Pricing Strategy Development: Develop and implement pricing strategies to optimize revenue, market competitiveness, and profitability for clinical services.
- Market Research & Analysis: Conduct market research and data analysis to establish competitive pricing structures, taking into account market trends, competitor pricing, and industry standards.
- Collaboration & Support: Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support the RFQ & RFP processes, including the development of pricing proposals and assisting in contract negotiations.
- Pricing Performance Monitoring: Track and analyze pricing performance, providing insights, reports, and recommendations for ongoing pricing optimization.
- Compliance & Governance: Ensure that all pricing strategies and practices comply with applicable regulations, industry standards, and internal policies.
- Pricing Model Development: Participate in the creation and enhancement of pricing models and tools to improve the efficiency and accuracy of pricing processes.
- Pricing Policy Development: Contribute to the development and maintenance of pricing policies, procedures, and best practices to guide the organization's pricing activities.
- Pricing Analysis & Recommendations: Prepare and present comprehensive pricing analyses and recommendations to senior management and key stakeholders to support strategic decision-making.
- Pricing Support & Guidance: Provide support and guidance for pricing-related inquiries and resolve any pricing issues as they arise.
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, Healthcare Management, or a related field. Advanced degree or professional certifications in pricing, healthcare management, or related field are preferred.
- Minimum 8 years of experience in clinical pricing analysis within the CRO, BioTech, or BioPharma industries, including experience with RFQ & RFP processes.
Skills & Knowledge:
- Strong understanding of healthcare pricing structures, reimbursement methodologies, and regulatory requirements.
- Proficiency in data analysis and advanced Excel modeling.
- Demonstrated experience in developing and implementing pricing strategies.
- Expertise in cross-functional collaboration and project management.
- Knowledge of industry-specific pricing tools and software.
- Familiarity with healthcare industry trends and market dynamics.
- Experience in managed care contract negotiations (preferred).
- Strong problem-solving and critical thinking abilities.
- Excellent attention to detail and high accuracy in work.
- Ability to communicate complex pricing concepts to stakeholders in a clear and concise manner.
- Ability to adapt to changing priorities, meet deadlines, and thrive in a fast-paced dynamic environment.
- Experience in leading pricing initiatives and driving pricing optimization.
