The Staff Frontend Architect is a key member of our Resource Management team, playing a pivotal role in driving the next generation of construction platform initiatives. This individual will work closely with a dedicated and talented team spanning Engineering, Product Management, UX, and Architects to create and scale the next generation Procore experience on our web platform.

In this role, the Staff Frontend Architect will be responsible for establishing the strategic technical direction, creating reference patterns, and driving the effective execution of that strategy for one of Procore's core product areas. This requires a deep understanding of Web, Backend, UI/UX, Micro Front-end, and the ability to evolve Resource Management products to a platform-oriented approach.

The Staff Frontend Architect will be primarily responsible for establishing the technical vision and strategy for our frontend development, leading code reviews and documentation, and taking on complex bug fixes and architectural improvements. Additionally, this individual will drive the success of projects, from technical design to implementation, launch, and operation, while onboarding and mentoring other engineers.

The ideal candidate will have 8+ years of experience in Software Engineering, Test Driven Development, and Design principles for web and full stack applications at scale with distributed architectures. They should have extensive experience with modern testing frameworks, such as Jest, Cypress, Mocha, Chai, and be well-versed in modern web development projects across the entire spectrum of development, testing, staging, deploying, and monitoring.

The Staff Frontend Architect will be a key influencer and communicator, effectively collaborating with leaders across engineering, product management, UX, and business stakeholders to understand strategic objectives and align technology solutions to business goals. They will establish and maintain our overall technology strategy, which supports and enables our multi-year corporate and product strategies, and embodies our P&T and Engineering Principles.
