Job Overview

We are seeking a seasoned Cloud Infrastructure Engineering Team Lead to oversee the management of critical cloud infrastructure for global clients.

This role involves providing round-the-clock managed support for these cloud environments, leading a team and ensuring that customer Service Level Agreements exceed benchmarks.

You will work closely with DevOps and engineering teams by providing input and suggestions.

  • Establish relationships with partners to identify opportunities.
  • Ensure customer SLA is met consistently.
  • Review tickets and escalate when necessary.
  • Oversee Cloud Engineers and provide technical guidance and expertise.
  • Act as L3 in case of escalations and resolve issues hands-on.
  • Interact with customers via tickets, calls, emails, and periodic sync-up calls.
  • Evaluate team member performance on a regular basis and provide feedback.

Key Qualifications

10+ years of experience with a proven track record of providing L3 technical support in a cloud-first data center or cloud support services organization.

In-depth knowledge of cloud, containers, virtualization, and its supporting technologies and concepts.

Hands-on knowledge of Linux, MySQL, Vmware/KVM, and any on-prem cloud technology.

In-depth experience on any monitoring system (Prometheus/Nagios/Zabbix/SolarWinds/ManageEngine etc.).

Good working knowledge of Storage, Networking, Backup, Bash.

Excellent communication skills with clear verbal and written articulation.

Experience in handling a team of minimum 4 people in this role.
