Job Title: Executive Maintenance Leader

Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced Executive Maintenance professional to lead our maintenance team and drive operational excellence.

About the Role
  • Contribute to the development and implementation of best practice maintenance vision, strategy, policies, processes and procedures.
  • Review and communicate the impact of new business initiatives and projects on maintenance activities.
  • Effectively delegate maintenance issues to be resolved on each shift and small projects to the right skills in the team.
  • Adhere to daily and weekly checks to ensure smooth operation of site.
  • Develop a Planned Preventative Maintenance (PPM) schedule and lead the team to deliver effectively.
Key Responsibilities
  1. Schedule both internal and external work(s) maximizing planned down time and reducing unplanned downtime.
  2. Manage the team to ensure machine availability, reactively managing dysfunctional machinery with the Shift management.
  3. Optimize equipment according to standard procedure, enhancing performance and product quality.
Priorities
  • Ensure routine calibration and maintenance requirements of a variety of electro-mechanical, hydraulic and pneumatic systems are undertaken.
  • Manage systems and equipment data storage and maintain high levels of standards and accuracy.
  • Produce written reports and make presentations.
Accountabilities
  • Set department objectives/KPIs and review and assess ongoing performance of direct reports.
  • Manage, coach and develop a high performing Maintenance team that meets agreed objectives.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering or related field.
  • Minimum 5 years experience in maintenance leadership role.
  • Excellent communication and leadership skills.
