About the Role

As a Data Engineering Application Lead, you will be responsible for leading the effort to design, build, and configure applications, acting as the primary point of contact. Your typical day will involve working with data pipelines, ETL processes, and data warehousing to ensure data quality and integrity.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Lead the design, development, and implementation of data pipelines, ETL processes, and data warehousing solutions to ensure data quality and integrity.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including data scientists, analysts, and business stakeholders, to understand data requirements and design scalable solutions.
  • Develop and maintain data models, schemas, and data dictionaries to ensure consistency and accuracy across the organization.
  • Manage and mentor a team of data engineers, providing technical guidance and support to ensure successful project delivery.
Required Skills and Qualifications

To succeed in this role, you must have:

  • Strong experience in data engineering, including data pipelines, ETL processes, and data warehousing.
  • Proficiency in programming languages such as Python, Java, or Scala.
  • A minimum of 7.5 years of experience in data engineering.
  • A strong educational background in computer science, software engineering, or a related field.
