Software Engineer - DevOps Expert

About the Role:
  • We are seeking a seasoned Software Engineer with a deep focus on DevOps practices and extensive experience with tools like Jenkins, Git, and Ansible.
  • The successful candidate will champion DevOps methodologies and optimize CI/CD pipelines to drive efficiency and quality.
  • You will design, implement, and deploy containerized applications using Docker, with a strong emphasis on orchestration and management within Kubernetes environments (e.g., Azure AKS).
  • Your expertise in Java and modern frameworks, such as Spring Boot, will enable you to develop high-performance, scalable microservices.
  • You will ensure API security is built-in from the ground up, implementing advanced authentication and authorization mechanisms (e.g., JWT token validation, OAuth 2.0 flow callbacks, API key checks).
Required Skills and Qualifications:
  • Minimum 8+ years of extensive experience as a Software Engineer, with deep focus on DevOps practices.
  • Solid experience with DevOps practices and CI/CD pipeline automation using tools like Jenkins, Git, and Ansible.
  • Strong expertise in Kubernetes and Docker, including deployment, scaling, and management of containerized applications.
  • Deep hands-on expertise in Java and modern frameworks including Spring Boot, and Hibernate.
  • Proven experience in REST API development, design, and implementation.
  • Demonstrable experience with cloud services, specifically Azure AKS, and exposure to other platforms like AWS EC2.
  • Proficiency in API security implementations, including JWT token validation, OAuth 2.0, and API key management.
