As a Network Security Specialist at Knowledgeworks Global Ltd, you will be responsible for overseeing and securing our network infrastructure.

This role involves the management and maintenance of the network security infrastructure in a 24/7 environment. Responsibilities include deploying and maintaining access-list and firewall policies, maintaining service levels as well as oversight of day-to-day configuration, administration, and monitoring of the network security infrastructure. You will also implement and maintain network security policy, standards, and procedures. Additionally, you will perform daily performance checks on devices, periodic audits, and compliance with industry regulations.

To succeed in this role, you will need to have CCNP (Routing & Switching) and CCNP (Security) or equivalent qualifications, along with extensive experience in network security with at least 5 years in Fortinet/Cisco Firewalls and IPS. Proficiency with management of Firewall and NIPS solutions is also required. Furthermore, you must have hands-on experience in commissioning and implementation of various Firewall & NIPS solutions and integrating with various management and authentication authorization tools (email, AD, IAM, SIEM).

Your key responsibilities will include:

  • Managing and maintaining the network security infrastructure
  • Deploying and maintaining access-list and firewall policies
  • Maintaining service levels and performing daily performance checks
  • Implementing and maintaining network security policy, standards, and procedures
  • Troubleshooting layers 1, 2, and 3 of the OSI Model
