Opal Mapping System Overview: Our system generates an accurate anatomical model of the heart chamber in real-time, providing instant feedback to physicians during procedures. High-performance rendering and algorithmic techniques are crucial to creating a stunning view.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design, develop, and maintain user interfaces for our medical device using Qt.
  • Provide technical leadership to the team in software design and best-in-class software development methodologies and practices.
  • Solve complex problems and strive for engineering excellence.
  • Partner with other teams, including marketing, systems engineering, QA, hardware, and regulatory, to understand requirements and bring forward innovative solutions.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or equivalent experience.
  • 15+ years of experience delivering successful mission-critical products.
  • Expertise in C++, Qt, and familiarity with one other scientific computing/scripting language.
  • Working knowledge in Unix.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and ability to adapt to new situations.
  • Excellent communication skills and ability to adapt to diverse audiences.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience designing and implementing medical device software.
  • Familiarity with third-party C++ libraries.
  • Development experience with systems featuring intuitive User Interfaces.
  • Writing software for embedded systems that interface with sensors.
