About Freelance Data Protection

We are seeking a highly skilled Freelance Data Security Specialist to join our team.

The role involves safeguarding sensitive business and customer data across multiple platforms by designing and implementing policies that enforce fine-grained data access controls.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Designing and implementing policies to ensure data protection and compliance with regulatory frameworks.
  • Integrating data access control solutions with CRM platforms, cloud data warehouses, APIs, reporting tools, and AI/ML models.
  • Collaborating with stakeholders to refine data access policies and ensure alignment with governance standards.
  • Ensuring data access governance supports privacy, compliance, and regulatory frameworks.
  • Working in Agile delivery environments using tools such as JIRA (Cloud for execution, Align for planning).

Required Skills:

  • Proven experience with authorization platforms (e.g., PlainID or other policy-based access control solutions).
  • Strong background in data governance, access management, and compliance frameworks.
  • Hands-on experience with CRM platforms (e.g., Salesforce) and cloud data platforms (e.g., Snowflake).
  • Understanding of enterprise integrations (APIs, applications, notification systems, and reporting pipelines).
  • Experience working in Agile teams with JIRA Cloud and Align for project tracking and planning.
  • Strong analytical, debugging, and problem-solving skills in fast-paced environments.

Nice-to-Have:

  • Experience implementing regional or country-specific data access policies in global enterprises.
  • Exposure to commerce or supply chain data governance.
  • Familiarity with security and authorization models such as RBAC, ABAC, and Zero Trust.
