About the Role
  • We are seeking a seasoned Software Engineering Lead to oversee the development and execution of Wireless SoC's from definition through production.
  • The successful candidate will define and plan the SoC requirements in collaboration with product marketing teams, developing and maintaining the SoC architecture or technical specification to meet product requirements, maximizing IP reuse.
Responsibilities
  1. Lead the development schedule, including milestones and resource requirements, and coordinate with cross-functional teams on dependencies.
  2. Coordinate with global design functional leads to track execution, triage issues, and perform prudent escalation.
  3. Represent the design community to provide succinct weekly status and attend cross-functional meetings.
  4. Perform SoC Design Integration and maintain design collateral such as documentation, register libraries, and pinouts delivered to cross-functional teams.
  5. Support validation and product test teams during silicon bringup, validation, characterization, and qualification.
  6. Triage, track, and resolve issues reported during silicon evaluation.
Requirements
  • Strong leadership skills and experience in managing software development teams.
  • Proven track record of delivering complex projects on time and within budget.
  • Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
  • Experience with Agile development methodologies.
  • Familiarity with low-power wireless connectivity technologies.
