Construction Project Manager

The successful candidate will oversee daily site operations and ensure timely, cost-effective, and high-quality execution of construction activities.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and implement a plan to manage day-to-day site activities according to the project schedule
  • Coordinate with engineers, contractors, vendors, and labor teams to ensure seamless execution
  • Ensure all work is carried out in accordance with architectural and structural drawings
  • Manage manpower, material, and machinery efficiently to minimize costs and maximize productivity
  • Monitor progress and prepare detailed Daily Progress Reports (DPR)
  • Maintain quality control and adhere to construction standards throughout the project lifecycle
  • Ensure accurate site documentation, including material stock, attendance, bills, etc.
  • Implement and enforce safety protocols and regulations to protect personnel and assets
  • Identify and resolve delays or technical issues promptly
  • Attend regular site meetings with management and consultants to discuss progress and address concerns
  • Assist in planning procurement and usage of materials to meet project requirements
Required Skills and Qualifications:
  • Strong leadership and team management skills to motivate and direct site staff
  • Ability to read and interpret complex civil and structural drawings
  • Familiarity with construction materials, methods, and standards to inform decision-making
  • Excellent knowledge of project planning and execution strategies to deliver results on time and within budget
  • Proficient in MS Office and AutoCAD to support project administration and design tasks
  • Ability to prioritize multiple tasks and meet deadlines while maintaining attention to detail
  • Strong problem-solving and communication skills to build relationships with stakeholders and resolve conflicts

Preferred qualifications include 6 years of experience in site execution, proven ability to handle a site independently, and knowledge of local construction practices and labor laws.
