Ab Initio and Apache Spark Developer

We are seeking a highly skilled Ab Initio and Apache Spark Developer to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in big data processing and a proven track record of delivering scalable and performance-driven solutions.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead architectural design sessions and technical reviews to create a robust, scalable, and high-performance data architecture.
- Develop sophisticated ETL processes with Ab Initio and construct large-scale data processing systems with Spark.
- Conduct advanced performance tuning and troubleshooting of Ab Initio and Spark applications.
- Mentor junior developers and provide guidance on best practices in data processing and engineering.
- Consult with business stakeholders to refine data requirements and align solutions with strategic objectives.
- Oversee the deployment of data pipelines in production environments, ensuring compliance with data governance and security standards.
- Manage complex data integration projects from inception to delivery, balancing resource allocation and timelines.
- Foster innovative solutions by keeping abreast of emerging technologies and trends in the data engineering space.
- Champion the adoption of Agile methodologies and promote a culture of continuous improvement within the data engineering team.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Technology, or a related field.
- 7 to 10 years of hands-on experience with Ab Initio and Apache Spark in a data-intensive environment.
- Demonstrated expertise in designing and implementing high-volume data integration processes.
- Robust knowledge of Java, Scala, or Python and experience with SQL and NoSQL databases.
- Proven ability to lead and deliver complex data projects with cross-functional teams.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with a track record of optimizing data systems for performance and reliability.
- In-depth understanding of big data technologies, data modeling, and data architecture principles.
