We are looking for an experienced professional with expertise in ASIC design flows, EDA tools, and scripting languages. The ideal candidate will have a strong technical background in CAD/EDA tool support, flow development, and ASIC design methodologies.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Develop, maintain, and optimize CAD tools and design flows to support ASIC design and verification.
  • Provide technical support to ASIC design teams, troubleshooting issues related to tools, flows, and methodologies.
  • Automate workflows by developing and integrating custom scripts and utilities for improved efficiency and productivity.
  • Evaluate and implement EDA tools and methodologies for front-end (logic synthesis, DFT, STA) and back-end (place and route, physical verification) ASIC design stages.
  • Collaborate with EDA vendors to address tool-related issues, deliver updates, and optimize tools for ASIC-specific needs.
  • Monitor tool performance and license usage, ensuring efficient resource utilization.
  • Develop and enforce best practices and design standards for ASIC workflows.
  • Support design rule compliance and ensure compatibility of flows with advanced process nodes.
  • Stay updated on emerging ASIC design methodologies and EDA technologies to recommend process improvements.
  • Provide training and documentation to design teams on tool usage, methodologies, and workflows.
Requirements:
  • B.Tech/M.Tech in Electronics, Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field.
  • 7+ years of experience in ASIC CAD/EDA tool support or flow development.
