We are seeking an Accessibility Solutions Specialist to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring digital products meet ADA, WCAG, and Section 508 compliance requirements.
Key Responsibilities:- Conduct automated and manual audits for websites, portals, documents, and multimedia content to ensure accessibility.
- Perform real-user accessibility testing using screen readers, keyboard-only navigation, and mobile responsiveness to identify areas for improvement.
- Provide clear, prioritized fixes and hands-on remediation support for PDFs and Office documents to improve their accessibility.
- Guide developers on accessible coding practices such as ARIA, semantic HTML, CSS, JavaScript to enhance the accessibility of digital products.
- Prepare VPATs/ACRs and client-facing accessibility conformance documentation to demonstrate compliance.
- Strong knowledge of WCAG 2.1/2.2, ADA Title II/III, Section 504/508.
- Hands-on experience with JAWS, NVDA, VoiceOver, TalkBack, Axe, WAVE, SiteImprove, Adobe Acrobat Pro.
- Proficiency in HTML5, ARIA, CSS3, JavaScript (React/Angular a plus).
- Strong documentation/reporting skills (audit findings, VPAT/ACR) to effectively communicate accessibility solutions.
