Network Administrator Position

We are seeking an experienced Network Administrator to join our team.

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in network administration, including routing, switching, security, and wireless networking.

  • Administer and maintain the organization's computer networks, including local area networks (LANs), wide area networks (WANs), and Wi-Fi networks.
  • Install, configure, and troubleshoot network devices, such as routers, switches, firewalls, and load balancers.
  • Monitor network performance, identify bottlenecks, and implement solutions to optimize network speed and reliability.
  • Collaborate with network architects to design and implement new network infrastructure.
  • Develop and enforce network security policies to protect against cyber threats.
  • Provide technical support and training to end-users on network-related issues.
  • Stay up-to-date with industry trends and best practices in network administration.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Networking, or related field.
  • Minimum 3 years of experience in network administration.
  • Strong knowledge of routing protocols (OSPF, EIGRP, BGP), switching protocols (STP, VLAN), and network security concepts.
  • Experience with Cisco routers, switches, and firewalls.
  • Proficient in network monitoring tools (e.g., SolarWinds, Nagios).
  • Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • CCNP or CCIE certification.
  • Experience with cloud-based network services (AWS, Azure, Google Cloud).
  • Knowledge of SDN (Software-Defined Networking) principles.
