Job Title: Taxation Specialist
">About the RoleWe are seeking a highly skilled Taxation Specialist to join our team. As a Taxation Specialist, you will be responsible for managing the tax function across various entities and overseeing the work of external consultants.
">Key Responsibilities- Manage the tax function for multiple SPVs and holding entities operating in the manufacturing sector.
- Coordinate with external consultants for the preparation and filing of corporate tax returns.
- Prepare and review TDS returns and, preferably, GST returns to ensure accuracy and regulatory compliance.
- Oversee the work of outsourced teams from Big 4 firms by providing direction and reviewing deliverables.
- Ensure adherence to internal SOPs and maintain documentation for audit and internal controls.
- Lead tax audits, transfer pricing audits, and handle notices and assessments from tax authorities in collaboration with consultants.
- Partner with cross-functional teams such as legal, finance, and operations, and provide regular updates to senior management.
- Qualification: Chartered Accountant with more than 2 years of post-qualification experience.
- Background: Preferred to have a corporate/industry background. Candidates from Advisories/Consultancies can also apply.
- Technical Skills: Strong proficiency in corporate taxation
- Soft Skills: Excellent communication skills, ability to coordinate with multiple stakeholders, and a high level of energy and learning agility.
- Work Ethic: Detail-oriented, process-driven, and committed to deadlines and compliance standards.
