Specification Manager Job Description

We are seeking an experienced Specification Manager to assume a crucial role in our organization. The ideal candidate will have 10+ years of experience in marketing and product specification to architects, builders, and PMC's working in various business verticals.

The incumbent should be able to identify new markets for the company's products, develop existing ones, and define new business opportunities.

A strong background in working with major architectural firms, specifying products in projects, creating BOQ's/Schedules, making product presentations, and organizing launches is essential.

Additionally, experience in working with government bodies like CPWD, NBCC, RITES, UPRN, PWD, AAI, EIL is highly desirable.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Meeting architects and consultants to get product specifications included in tender documents.
  • Organizing events at Experience Centers with PMC/Architects for positive engagement.
  • Following up on project leads to identify key stakeholders and decision makers.
  • Presenting design proposals to clients, consultants, and owners for business opportunities.
  • Maintaining direct relationships with key customers, consultants, owners, and decision makers.
  • Developing market potential of the company in line with the business plan.
  • Submitting offers, following up, and closing orders.
  • Promoting new products and services of various divisions to balance ROI on products.
  • Planning tasks, maintaining reports, conducting weekly reviews, and assisting sales in closing orders.

The successful candidate will have a proven track record in Specifications from the Building Materials industry.
