Job Overview

We are seeking a detail-oriented and analytical professional to collect, process, and analyze data to support strategic decision-making across the organization. The ideal candidate will have strong skills in data querying, visualization, and storytelling to transform raw data into actionable insights.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Gather, clean, and analyze large datasets from various sources to drive business initiatives forward.
  • Build and maintain dashboards and reports using tools like Tableau, Power BI, or Looker to provide valuable insights.
  • Translate business questions into data queries and offer recommendations based on findings.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams (marketing, finance, operations, product, etc.) to identify opportunities for improvement and growth.
  • Identify trends, patterns, and anomalies in data to inform forecasting and optimization strategies.
  • Perform A/B testing and statistical analysis to evaluate business performance and make informed decisions.
  • Document data definitions, processes, and business rules to ensure clarity and understanding.
  • Ensure data accuracy, integrity, and compliance with relevant policies to maintain trust and confidence.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Data Science, Statistics, Computer Science, Economics, Mathematics, or a related field.
  • Proficiency in SQL and experience working with relational databases to manage and manipulate data effectively.
  • Strong knowledge of data visualization tools (e.g., Tableau, Power BI, Looker) to communicate complex data insights clearly.
  • Familiarity with Excel and at least one statistical or scripting language (Python, R, etc.) to perform advanced data analysis.
  • Excellent communication skills with the ability to present data findings clearly and concisely.
  • Strong problem-solving and critical-thinking abilities to tackle complex challenges and make informed decisions.

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Experience with data warehousing (e.g., Snowflake, Redshift, BigQuery) to optimize data storage and retrieval.
  • Understanding of ETL/ELT processes and data pipelines to ensure seamless data flow.
  • Knowledge of statistical methods and hypothesis testing to drive data-driven decisions.
  • Experience with CRM or marketing analytics tools (e.g., Google Analytics, Salesforce, HubSpot) to track customer behavior and preferences.
