Regulatory Policy Lead

Job Description: This role involves driving Airtel's regulatory strategy by analyzing complex data, identifying trends and crafting compelling narratives to shape industry-shaping policies.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop strategic frameworks for policy development across various sectors including telecom, broadcasting, financial services, entertainment, and digital ecosystems.
  • Track and analyze competition, market and regulatory trends to provide strategic updates that inform policy advocacy.
  • Prepare comprehensive briefing notes, presentations, regulatory submissions, and communication strategies to influence key stakeholders.
  • Standardize reporting mechanisms to track regulatory engagements and advocacy outcomes.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure alignment of business goals with evolving regulatory priorities.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

  • Strong understanding of regulatory frameworks and industry dynamics in telecom and digital sectors.
  • Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and stakeholder engagement skills.
  • Proven ability to manage multiple priorities in a dynamic environment.
  • High attention to detail, critical thinking, and intellectual creativity.
  • Master's degree in Business, Economics, Law, Finance, or related field.
  • 2-3 years of experience in policy, research, or a related strategic function.
