Job Description

We are looking for a detail-oriented and experienced Financial Analyst to manage our financial records, prepare financial statements, and ensure compliance with US GAAP standards. The ideal candidate will have expertise in bookkeeping, QuickBooks, and financial statement preparation.

Required Skills and Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field (CPA certification preferred)
  • 3+ years of accounting experience, preferably working with US-based clients
  • Expertise in US GAAP and QuickBooks is mandatory
  • Strong proficiency in financial statement preparation and balance sheet management
  • Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Excel and other financial software

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Bookkeeping & Financial Records Management
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date financial records for the organization
  • Record, classify, and reconcile financial transactions in QuickBooks
  • Manage accounts payable and receivable, including invoicing and payments
Financial Reporting & Analysis
  • Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements, including profit & loss statements and balance sheets
  • Ensure compliance with US GAAP standards in all financial reporting
  • Conduct variance analysis and provide insights to support decision-making
Compliance & Tax Preparation Support
  • Ensure all financial records comply with relevant laws and regulations
  • Assist in the preparation of tax filings and coordinate with external auditors as needed
Budgeting & Forecasting
  • Support the development of budgets and financial forecasts
  • Monitor cash flow and provide regular updates to management
Process Improvement
  • Identify opportunities to streamline financial processes and improve efficiency
  • Maintain and enhance internal controls to safeguard company assets
