
Enterprise Data Integrator

We are seeking an experienced integration professional to lead the development and delivery of integrations across various platforms.
As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for designing and implementing reliable workflows with proper retry logic, idempotency, and error handling.
You will also oversee integration security, including secrets management, certificate renewals, and key rotation.
In addition, you will work closely with stakeholders to translate business needs into detailed technical specifications.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and maintain the integration strategy, standards, and roadmap for all enterprise systems.
- Lead integration projects using iPaaS platforms and native APIs, webhooks, and event-driven patterns.
- Review and approve integration designs, mappings, and data contracts to ensure consistency and maintainability.
- Implement API governance, including version control, authentication, pagination, and rate-limit handling.
- Design reliable workflows with proper retry logic, idempotency, and error handling.
- Implement monitoring and alerting solutions with clear SLAs and documented runbooks.
- Establish data quality checks, schema validation, and exception handling processes.
- Oversee integration security, including secrets management, certificate renewals, and key rotation.
- Work closely with stakeholders to translate business needs into detailed technical specifications.
- Manage integration release cycles and ensure proper testing before production deployment.
- Set up and maintain CI/CD pipelines for integration code and configurations.
- Lead the resolution of integration incidents, performing root cause analysis and applying permanent fixes.
- Coordinate with external vendors and partners to meet business requirements.
- Plan capacity for peak business periods to ensure system performance and scalability.
- Track and optimize platform usage and costs while maintaining service quality.
- Mentor integration engineers and analysts to raise the standard of technical delivery.
- Maintain up-to-date documentation for integration designs, mappings, and operational procedures.
- Evaluate new tools and technologies, conducting proof-of-concepts where required.
Qualifications:
- At least 8 years of experience in application and data integrations, with 3 or more years in a lead role.
- Hands-on experience with an iPaaS such as Celigo, MuleSoft, or Boomi.
- Practical experience integrating systems such as NetSuite, Shopify, and Salesforce.
- Knowledge of EDI workflows and coordination with providers such as SPS Commerce.
- Strong understanding of APIs, JSON, XML, CSV, OAuth 2.0, JWT, and related technologies.
- Familiarity with messaging and event-driven architectures.
- Experience writing and managing data transformations and mapping logic.
- Proven ability to set up monitoring and alerting systems for integrations.
- Knowledge of secure data handling and compliance with data protection standards.
- Proficiency with Git-based workflows and CI/CD processes.
- Strong communication skills and the ability to collaborate across business and technical teams.
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or equivalent experience.
