Job Description:

As a highly skilled procurement professional, you will play a pivotal role in ensuring seamless execution and compliance with organizational standards. Collaborating closely with suppliers & internal stakeholders by leveraging your expertise, you will ensure reliability in supplies and best-in-class service levels.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Operational Support:
  • Responsible for procurement processes for assigned categories to ensure on-time delivery (OTIF) as per agreed key performance indicators (KPIs)
  • Responsible for availability of purchase orders in SAP either through automation or assignment based on approved purchase requisitions (PR), price & supplier
  • Responsible for ensuring PO acknowledgement along with specification acceptance, dispatch dates & quantity confirmations from suppliers
  • Responsible for life cycle management (LCM) of purchase orders till delivery at respective plant gates as per agreed lead times
  • Post-PO collaboration to ensure delivery dates are adhered to, and in case of exceptions, coordinate with suppliers & internal stakeholders
  • Responsible for adopting advance shipping notices (ASNs) from suppliers
  • Responsible for logistics arrangements & PO provisions for delivery (ex-works) to minimize deviations in payment processes
  • Responsible for processing rush orders on green channels to meet business requirements
  1. Stakeholder Collaboration:
  • Collaborate with internal stakeholders, including the procurement strategic team and planning/QC/marketing teams, to resolve issues related to pricing/lead time/QM info/MPN etc.
  • Responsible for post-delivery coordination with plant partnering teams for resolving issues pertaining to suppliers/logistics
  1. Team Collaboration:
  • Collaborate with team members of PO operations/plant partnering/Dpex/QC/GQM teams to ensure timely execution of procurement operations
  • Participate in team meetings and provide updates on assigned tasks on a daily and weekly basis and make lists of exceptions
  1. Process Improvement:
  • Identify and suggest opportunities for process optimization within assigned categories to improve ways of working
  • Responsible for training suppliers on Dpex lead process enhancements in S2P tools to increase digital tool adoption
