Job Responsibilities

FICO seeks a skilled Senior Software Architect to join our team. As a member of our engineering group, you will be responsible for designing, developing, testing, deploying, and supporting scalable Java microservices on enterprise cloud platforms. You will also build high-performance backend services using Spring Boot, gRPC, and messaging systems like Kafka. Additionally, you will contribute to architectural decisions, proof-of-concepts, and cloud-native design for AWS environments. Furthermore, you will own quality, test automation, CI/CD integration, and DevOps best practices across services. In this role, you will collaborate with architects, engineers, and product leaders in an Agile/Scrum environment. You will mentor junior engineers and uphold standards for coding, testing, and software design. You will also utilize Docker, Kubernetes, Helm, and Terraform for containerization and infrastructure automation. Finally, you will work with relational databases using SQL and ORM tools such as Hibernate.

Your responsibilities will include:
  1. Mentoring junior engineers and upholding standards for coding, testing, and software design.
  2. Collaborating with architects, engineers, and product leaders in an Agile/Scrum environment.
  3. Utilizing Docker, Kubernetes, Helm, and Terraform for containerization and infrastructure automation.
