Wireless Network Engineer

We are seeking an experienced Wireless Network Engineer to develop and maintain WLAN Linux device drivers for 802.11ax devices.

  • The ideal candidate will have strong knowledge of wireless networking protocols and embedded software development.
  • Key responsibilities include designing, implementing, and maintaining WLAN firmware for 802.11ac and 802.11n devices.
  • Additionally, the successful candidate will write clean, efficient, and maintainable Embedded C code for WLAN drivers and firmware.
  • Advanced WLAN debugging skills using tools like Wireshark, kernel logs, and custom test setups are required.
  • Collaboration with hardware and system teams is essential for device bring-up, integration testing, and validation of WLAN solutions in various embedded platforms.
  • The role requires a solid understanding of wireless protocols, TCP/IP stack, and networking concepts to optimize WLAN performance and reliability.
Required Skills & Qualifications
  • Strong experience in WLAN Linux device driver development, preferably for 802.11ax devices.
  • Excellent proficiency in Embedded C programming and Linux kernel internals.
  • Hands-on experience in WLAN firmware development, debugging, and performance tuning.
  • Solid understanding of networking and wireless protocols, including TCP/IP, DHCP, and Wi-Fi standards.
  • Experience with debugging tools such as Wireshark, kernel logs, oscilloscopes, and logic analyzers.
  • Proven ability to troubleshoot hardware/software integration issues in embedded systems.
