Overview of the Role:

The Genesys Cloud Contact Center Engineer is responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining the Genesys Cloud Contact Center platform.

This role involves working closely with stakeholders to ensure the contact center infrastructure meets business outcomes and evolving needs.

The ideal candidate has extensive experience with Genesys solutions and a strong understanding of contact center operations.

Responsibilities:

  • Design and Engineering Functions: Establish standards and blueprints with suppliers, ensuring new functionality aligns with these documents.
  • Operations and Maintenance: Work with suppliers to manage operational run, enhancements, and platform changes, while supporting incident management.
  • Supplier Management: Monitor and manage supplier delivery to ensure contractual obligations are met.
  • Internal IT Support: Assist with integrations, governance processes, and architecture/design.
  • Stakeholder Engagement: Support engagement with country representatives, share knowledge, and serve as a technical escalation resource.

Experience & Qualifications:

  • At least 3-5 years of experience with Genesys Cloud contact center solutions, including Genesys Cloud Architect.
  • Genesys Certified Professional (GCP) or equivalent certifications are highly desirable.
  • A Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field is required.

Required Skills:

  • Expertise in Genesys Cloud tools, including Architect, Agent Scripter, and CLI.
  • Proficiency in JSON, RegEx, and restful API/web services.
  • Ability to design and manage dynamic workflows.
