Job Description
The Assistant Coordinator of the Office of Academic Operations (OAO) plays a vital role in the day-to-day operations of the office. Reporting to the Assistant Manager of OAO, this position is instrumental in maintaining records, answering queries from instructors and student advisors, and assisting with scheduling data updates.
Some key responsibilities include:
- Maintaining records for the team's various activities
- Answering basic instructor emails and providing responses to inquiries, reminders, and advice
- Assisting with time-sensitive projects involving academic or instructor affairs
- Helping with scheduling data updates and communicating course schedules to instructors
This role requires strong organizational skills, effective time management, and the ability to work independently while being a team player.
Required Skills and Qualifications
To be successful in this role, you'll need:
- A minimum of a graduation degree from an accredited institution
- Previous experience working with academics
- Strong written and oral communication abilities
- Excellent computer and technology skills
- Fluent in English
You'll also need to be able to effectively use time management tools and prioritize daily tasks and long-term projects.
