Job Title: Cloud Infrastructure Developer

We are seeking a skilled Cloud Infrastructure Developer to join our team. As a key member of our organization, you will play a pivotal role in designing, developing, and maintaining our internal developer platform.

The successful candidate will be responsible for the following:

  • Designing, Developing, and Maintaining: The core components of our internal developer platform, including APIs, tools, and infrastructure.
  • Building Self-Service Capabilities: Enabling developers to provision infrastructure, deploy applications, and manage their environments independently.
  • Implementing Infrastructure-as-Code (IaC): Using tools like Terraform, CloudFormation, or similar to maintain infrastructure consistency and best practices.
  • Developing Golden Paths: Ensuring consistency and best practices for common development tasks.
  • Contributing to Architecture and Design: Collaborating with the team to design and implement our cloud infrastructure.

Key Responsibilities Include:

  • Automation and Efficiency: Automating infrastructure provisioning, application deployment, and other repetitive tasks, building CI/CD pipelines to streamline software delivery, and identifying bottlenecks in the development workflow.
  • Security and Compliance: Ensuring platform security and compliance with relevant regulations, implementing security best practices, and collaborating with security teams to identify and mitigate potential vulnerabilities.
  • Collaboration and Communication: Working effectively with other engineers, product managers, and stakeholders, communicating technical concepts clearly and concisely, participating in code reviews and knowledge sharing, and contributing to a positive and collaborative team environment.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related field or equivalent experience.
  • Strong understanding of cloud computing concepts and technologies (AWS, Azure, GCP).
  • Experience with IaC tools (e.g., Terraform, CloudFormation).
  • Proficiency in at least one programming language (e.g., Python, Go, Java).
  • Excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.
  • Strong communication and collaboration skills.

Desirable Experience:

  • Experience building and maintaining internal developer platforms.
  • Experience with API design and development.
  • Experience with configuration management tools (e.g., Ansible, Chef, Puppet).
  • Experience with monitoring and logging tools (e.g., Prometheus, Grafana, ELK stack).
  • Experience with security best practices and compliance requirements.
