Job Opportunity: Research and Development Assistant

The Knowledge, Language, and Reasoning Lab is seeking a highly motivated individual to contribute to our cutting-edge research projects.

About the Role:

  • We are looking for an exceptional candidate who can develop and implement efficient models for knowledge representation, language understanding, and reasoning using Large Language Models (LLMs).
  • As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for creating structured knowledge corpora and designing techniques to enhance the learning and performance of LLMs.
  • You will collaborate with our research team to explore innovative methods for smaller language models to perform complex reasoning across various downstream tasks.

Requirements:

  • A bachelor's degree in Mathematics, Statistics, Computer Science, or a related field is required.
  • Proficiency in Python programming is mandatory, and you should be able to write clean, modular, scalable code.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Prior experience in Natural Language Processing (NLP), Deep Learning, or work involving LLMs is highly desirable.
  • Familiarity with deep learning frameworks such as PyTorch or TensorFlow is highly desirable.

Necessary Skills:

  • A strong foundation in mathematics and statistics is essential.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to learn from feedback are necessary.
