Cloud Engineer Job Description

We are seeking a skilled Cloud Engineer to join our team. The ideal candidate will have experience in designing, implementing, and managing highly available cloud environments.

  • Job Description:
  • Architect and implement secure and scalable cloud solutions using Google Cloud Platform (GCP) technologies.
  • Design and deploy cloud infrastructure, including VPCs, subnets, firewalls, and IAM policies.
  • Implement robust security practices and enforce security policies using GCP services such as Identity and Access Management (IAM), VPC Service Controls, and Cloud Security Command Center.
  • Architect solutions with cost optimization in mind using GCP billing and cost management tools.
  • Required Skills and Qualifications:
  • Deep hands-on experience with GCP, including Compute Engine, Google Kubernetes Engine (GKE), Cloud Functions, Cloud Pub/Sub, BigQuery, Cloud SQL, Cloud Storage, Cloud Firestore, Cloud Load Balancing, and VPC.
  • Expertise in Terraform for GCP infrastructure automation.
  • Strong knowledge of GCP networking, including VPC, Cloud DNS, VPN, Cloud Interconnect, and Cloud CDN.
  • Experience with Linux administration, scripting (Python, Bash), and CI/CD tools (Jenkins, GitHub Actions, GitLab).
