Electronics Design Lead

We are seeking a seasoned Electronics Design Lead to spearhead high-voltage design, mixed-signal systems, FPGA development, and the fundamentals of timing, beam control, data acquisition, and power integrity. This is a rare opportunity to establish a homegrown semiconductor-equipment ecosystem from the ground up.
Your RoleDeliver the electronics that make the instrument feel instantaneously synchronized: a unified timing spine, responsive beam control, low-noise power, and lossless, high-throughput data capture.
Key Responsibilities:- Design the timing and synchronization backbone so optics, detectors, motion, and software operate in perfect harmony.
- Develop mixed-signal boards: beam control drivers, detector front-ends, data-acquisition, and robust control I/O.
- Ensure clean, stable power and grounding/shielding for crisp images and strong EMC behavior.
- Provide diagnostics, fixtures, and logs so issues are easily identifiable and field-debuggable.
- A proven track record of shipping mixed-signal/FPGA systems in instruments, vision, or semiconductor/robotics equipment.
- Strong bench skills with scopes, analyzers, and bring-up; pragmatic about testability and manufacturability.
- Collaborative and documentation-minded. You think in interfaces and failure modes.
- Deterministic, synchronized operation across subsystems.
- Stable, low-noise performance visible in images and analytics.
- Lossless capture during long runs and lean EMC pre-checks.
