Principal Technologist

We are seeking a skilled Full-Stack Developer to lead the technical architecture of our Shopify app from MVP through scale. As a key member of our team, you will own the design and development of the entire product.

• Technical Leadership: Drive the technical vision and strategy for our app, ensuring seamless integration with Shopify and Google APIs.
• Architecture & Build: Design and implement robust database models to store store data, policies, and feed configurations. Develop secure authentication flows using Shopify OAuth and Google API OAuth.
• Shopify Integration: Utilize the Admin GraphQL API to create and update pages, injecting structured data and managing metafields/metaobjects. Handle billing with the Shopify Billing API.
• Google Merchant Center Integration: Connect via the Content API for Shopping & GMC API, implementing supplemental feed management and sequential A/B testing workflows.
• Frontend Development: Build merchant-facing UI in Shopify Polaris, creating intuitive dashboards for misrepresentation scan results, feed/test management, and GMC health status.
• Scalability & Security: Ensure data privacy and compliance with Shopify/Google terms, guaranteeing a secure experience for merchants and their customers.

The ideal candidate will possess expertise in Full-Stack Development, with a strong understanding of Shopify and Google APIs. Experience with data privacy and compliance is essential, as is the ability to work collaboratively as part of a team.
