Job Title: Civil Operations Manager

We are seeking a seasoned civil operations manager to oversee the execution of various projects in the steel industry.

The ideal candidate will possess a minimum of 8 years and maximum of 16 years of experience in managing civil works for leading steel companies.

A degree in BE/B. Tech Civil is required, along with experience in greenfield projects.

Prior experience in steel plants, iron making, or rolling mills is an added advantage.

About the Role:Civil Project Management
  • Develop project plans, schedules, and budgets for all civil works.
  • Resource allocation, including manpower, materials, and equipment.
  • Collaborate with various departments, subcontractors, and vendors to ensure seamless project execution.
Site Supervision and Quality Control
  • Direct and supervise on-site civil construction activities.
  • Monitor progress, adhere to quality standards, and address technical issues.
  • Implement a rigorous quality control system and perform regular inspections to verify material and workmanship quality.
Budgeting and Cost Control
  • Manage project budget for all civil works.
  • Track expenses, prepare cost reports, and identify cost-saving measures.
Contract Administration
  • Administer contracts with subcontractors and suppliers.
  • Negotiate terms, monitor performance, and ensure contractual obligations are met.
Documentation and Reporting
  • Maintain comprehensive records of project activities.
  • Prepare and present regular reports to senior management.
