Job Title: System Simulation Specialist

We are seeking a highly skilled System Simulation Specialist to join our team. The ideal candidate will have experience in designing and developing simulation models for powertrain systems, including component and system modeling/optimization.

About the Role:

  1. Simulation of Powertrain Systems: The successful candidate will be responsible for simulating powertrain systems, ensuring accurate modeling and optimization of components and systems.
  2. Programming of Simulation Tools: You will program simulation tools using GT-Power and Python, working closely with engineers to develop software function units.
  3. Model Building: Create models, including subsystems, defining boundary conditions, and integrating modules into larger systems/functions.
  4. Requirement Analysis: Analyze requirements and goals, identifying areas for improvement and optimizing system performance.
  5. Calibration, Testing and Evaluation of Parameters: Calibrate, test, and evaluate parameters to ensure optimal system performance.

Necessary Qualifications & Trainings:

  • Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Mechatronic Engineering, or Automotive Engineering.

Technical Knowledge:

  • Physics, Chemistry, Technical Fields like Internal Combustion Engines, Exhaust Aftertreatment, On Board Diagnostics.

Tools:

  • GT-Power and Python.

Key Responsibilities:

The key responsibilities of this role include:

  1. Designing and Developing Simulation Models: Create accurate and efficient simulation models for powertrain systems, including component and system modeling/optimization.
  2. Programming of Simulation Tools: Program simulation tools using GT-Power and Python, ensuring seamless integration with engineering teams.
  3. Model Integration and Calibration: Integrate modules into larger systems/functions, calibrate and test parameters to ensure optimal system performance.
