Job Title: CAD + Model Engineer

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated CAD Designer to fill this position.

The successful candidate will be responsible for:

  1. Preparing 3D models as per project requirements, utilizing advanced software such as SolidWorks.
  2. Developing stage drawings required for CNC machine shop operations, ensuring accuracy and precision.
  3. Designing and preparing models/drawings for jigs & fixtures, with strong understanding of Geometric Dimensioning & Tolerancing (GD&T).
  4. Supporting additional engineering activities as assigned, demonstrating initiative and problem-solving skills.

To succeed in this role, you will require:

  • A minimum of 3 years' experience in 3D modeling using SolidWorks, preferably in Oil & Gas industry.
  • A strong proficiency in AutoCAD 2D drafting, with ability to produce high-quality documentation.
  • A thorough understanding of design principles, including ergonomics and user experience.
  • Solid knowledge of designing fixtures for CNC machines (HMC, VMC, CNC), with hands-on experience and strong understanding of CNC machining processes.
  • Proficiency in MS Excel for technical documentation and reporting, with effective communication skills in English (both written & verbal).
  • Exposure to industry standards and best practices will be an added advantage.
